The pool is opened from 8:00 am – 9:30 pm. Pool keys will only be active during open hours.

POOL RULES:

  1. Swim at own risk: NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY.
  2. A homeowner or home occupant must accompany all guests.
  3. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD THE GATE BE OPENED OR KEYS SHARED WITH ANY PERSON. Rights will be suspended to any homeowner who violates this rule.
  4. No floatation devices allowed unless they are personal floatation devices that can be worn; i.e., water wings or life jacket
  5. Shower before entering the pool.
  6. All children under 4 who are not completely potty-trained (this means no accidents in six months time) must wear waterproof diapers (i.e. Swimmies) and plastic diaper covers at all times while at and in the pool. Responsible parties will be charged for the cost of cleaning the pool should it have to be closed due to fecal contamination caused by a child not wearing a protective diaper.
  7. No cutoffs.
  8. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
  9. Avoid swimming if you have any skin infections.
  10. No running, pushing, dunking, or other forms of horseplay.
  11. No DIVING.
  12. No GLASS OBJECTS in the pool area.
  13. No DOGS/ANIMALS permitted in pool area.
  14. Smoking is prohibited inside of or near the pool enclosure. Violators will lose pool privileges for one week, with fines after the second offense.
  15. Place all trash in receptacles.
  16. Proper pool etiquette (common sense and manners) should be practiced at all times!
  17. No bicycles, scooters or skateboards are allowed inside the pool area.
  18. Each lot is allowed one key card per household.
  19. Nonresident homeowners may allow renters of their Starr Creek homes to have access to the pool and common areas. In such cases, nonresident homeowners may not retain pool privileges for themselves or their guests. Either the nonresident homeowner or the renter can have use of the common areas, not both. Nonresident homeowner is still responsible for payment of dues.

In an October 2012 poll 80 percent of homeowners participating indicated they would favor prohibiting smoking at the pool. Based on that, the Starr Creek HOA Board of Directors has voted to prohibit smoking and vaping inside of or near the pool enclosure. If you are smoking/vaping at the pool, you will receive one warning. If you continue to violate this rule, you will incur a $25 fine after the second offense, a $50 fine after the third offense, and then pool privileges will be lost.

    • Whenever you leave or enter the pool area please make sure the gate is closed behind you. We have a lot of small children in our neighborhood.
